The Kriya Yoga Tradition

 offers us an opportunity to

realize who we truly are and how we may live a deeper and

more meaningful life. One God, One Life, naturally includes

our professional experience. I perceive it as another opening to

encourage remembrance of who we are with those with whom

we work. All of us have a yearning to live a life that matters and

resonates with the core of who we are. This desire reveals itself

in a myriad of ways.

In my work as a manager, I ask each person on the team to step up and show

their brilliance. Our intention is to express ourselves and actively engage in our

work with clarity. This helps to dispel belief systems that tell us we are merely

victims of circumstance or just survivors in the work environment. I invite each

one to recognize what it is she/he truly values. Knowing what we value opens

us to limitless possibilities. Recognition of what we value lays the foundation to

map our goals and objectives and shows us how we can serve a higher purpose in

our work. It lifts our consciousness and drives our mission. This level of responsi-

bility allows each of us to breathe life into what we want to create. Continuity

in this internal and external dialog broadcasts a message of honoring ourselves

and others.

My team collaborated and put this daily mindfulness statement into words:

Live from the place that knows the truth. We ensure our greatest success by

building strong relationships through open communication, trust, and respectful

listening.

My personal daily inspiration is from the Bhagavad Gita 9:27: Whatever you do,

whatever you eat, whatever you offer, whatever you give, whatever austerities you

practice, do that as a holy offering to me. My work in the world is one of my holy

offerings unto my Beloved.
